Mechanobiology in Epithelial
3D Tissue Constructs
MEƎT 's project structure. Project areas A-C investigate main aspects of force-dependent epithelial responses in three different contexts using well-established and novel tools to unravel fundamental principles of epithelial mechanobiology. The integrated with project area D, which is devoted to application and development of specialized tools. Interdisciplinary research in these interconnected project areas, together with a personalized comprehensive curriculum, forms the basis for the acquisition of knowledge, skills and strategic approaches in the fiel of mechanobiology. Qualification measures and research topics are listed on the right and described in detail in Sections 3.2.2 and 4.1, respectively.
